So, let us know why God created you and every other human.
- God expects us to give Him praise and worship
- He wants a personal relationship with us
- God wants us to know and serve Him
- He wants us to dwell with Him in heaven.
Human Beings Share in God’s Creative Activities
God allowed us to share in His creative activities because of the dignity He gave to man. There are two ways in which we share in His creative activities. These are:
- Procreation (i.e. to reproduce or bringing to birth).
- Invention (that is, making things by using the natural resources to benefit mankind)
Marriage is the only way through which God permits us to bring forth children. That is what God founded marriage. Therefore, Marriage is the legal union between a man and a woman. It is not for boys and girls.
Functions of Marriage
- For companionship
- Procreation
- To help each other
- Responsibility
- To be playmate
- Prevention of sexually transmitted diseases
Husband and wife should diligently carry out their responsibilities at home and in the community.
