DISCOVERING GOD THROUGH JESUS
( John 1:2&12, 14:1-11)
We discovered God through Jesus because the Bible told us that Jesus was with God in the beginning and Jesus said “He who has seen me, has seen the father. I am in the father and the father is in me”. Through Jesus we became children of God. If we believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior.
JESUS TAUGHT US TO OBEY GOD
(Matthew 21:28-31)
Jesus told us the story of a man who had two sons. The man told his first son to go and work on his farm but he said he will not go but later changed his mind and go. He also told the second son the same thing but did not go while he promise to go. Jesus said it was the first son that obeyed the father because he did what the father ask him to go.
Jesus teaches us to pray to God our father.
(Matthew 6:8-13)
Our father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be they name
They will be done on earth.
As it is in heaven give us this day
Our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil
For yours is the kingdom the power and glory forever and ever.
(Amen).
