Drawing is the art of creating the edge of an object or image by using line. Learning to draw is a matter of critical observation and practice.

MATERIALS USED FOR DRAWING

  1. Pencil (2B)
  2. Drawing book
  3. Eraser
  4. Drawing board
  5. Sharpener

TYPES OF DRAWING

  1. STILL LIFE DRAWING: is the drawing of man made object like bag, car.
  2. NATURE DRAWING: is the drawing of anything natural created by God such as trees, animal.
  3. LANDSCAPE DRAWING: is the drawing of a wide land.
  4. IMAGINATIVE DRAWING: is a drawing that is drawn from the mind.
  5. ABSTRACT DRAWING: is the drawing of a real image in an unreal manner.
  6. SHADING: is applying effect of light and shade on an object to make it look real and solid.

SHADING TECHNIQUES

  1. HATCHING METHOD: to shading with diagonal lines.
  2. CROSS HATCHING METHOD: is the shading that involves using diagonal lines across.
  3. BLURING METHOD: is the method of using blur lines together to create smooth or well blended effect.
  4. POINTITTISM METHOD: is the method of shading with small dots.
