The pattern is a decorative arrangement or design used in an art work. Most artist for their pattern by using element found in their environment. Pattern can be used as decorative or as an entire piece of work.
Examples of pattern making;
ELEMENT USED TO FORM PATTERN.
- Native: is the use of native objects such as plants, feathers, flowers shells to make pattern
- Imagination: is when an artist imagine a pattern to make design
- Man-made object: is the use of object such as chair, basket, shoes to form pattern
- Existing pictures and drawing: is the use of pictures and drawing to form pattern
