New life is when we live a completely changed life. When we are no longer doing what God does not like. New life means we holy life.

Evidence of a new life. Acts 16:31-34

There was a jailer in charge of a jail AT Philippi. Paul and Silas were imprisoned in that jail for preaching about Jesus Christ. When the power of God broke all the chains of the prisoners, the jailer wanted to take his life because he was afraid, he would be killed if any prisoner escaped. But Paul and Silas told him none of them has escaped.

The jailer then asked them: “What must I do to be saved?”  Paul and Silas told him to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He repented with all the members of his house. They were baptized and they received the gift of the Holy spirit. As soon as the jailer was baptized with the Holy spirit, he became a changed person. He became kind and loving. He was very happy that he now had a changed life.
