Jesus loves His people.

 Jesus loves His people.

The Bible tells us how God showed His love for us. God showed His love by allowing Jesus to die for our sins so that we might have eternal life. Jesus loves us that is why He died for our sins, that is why He heals us when we are sick and answer all our prayers.

As children of God we need to show love to others too in the same way Jesus showed love to us and others.

 

 

God’s ways of showing love to His people. Matt 5: 44-48, John 15:12

Jesus said there was a law which says: Everybody must hate his enemy and love his neighbour. Jesus said such a law is not good. No one should hate his enemy. Everybody should love his enemy.

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who  persecute you, so that you may be sons of your father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.”

Our enemies are those who hate us and deceive us. When we love our enemies, we are sharing God’s supernatural love with them.

Jesus loves everybody. He forgave His enemies who abused Him and did bad things to Him when He was on the cross.

He helped all those who came to Him for help. He healed the sick. He fed those who were hungry. He cast out evil spirit from those attacked by demons. He raised those who were dead. He forgave sinners their sins. Jesus said we must all love one another in the same way as he has loved us:

“This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you”

 

Moral lesson

1. God wants us to thank Jesus for His love for us.
2. God wants us to show love for one another.
3. God wants us to forgive our enemies.
