Welcome to class.
Metalwork is the process of working with metal to create individual parts. It is also the activities of making object out of metal in a skillful way.
TYPES OF METAL WORK
- WELDERS: They use heat and electricity to permanently join together piece of metal for use in manufacturing items such as automobiles and vehicles.
- CUTTERS; They employ heat to work with metal, they are responsible for dismantling large metal structures like boat, bridges.
- TOOLS AND DIE MAKERS: They use different tools to cut and drill metal in order to produce parts for machinery used in manufacturing.
- MACHINIST: They use presser, grinders and milling machines to shape metals into parts.
- METAL WORKING MACHINE OPERATORS: They set up and operate equipment used to shape and assemble metal product such as bending metal parts or adding screws.

- Keys
- Latches
