Hello children, welcome back to class

 

Zero is a number. It is represented in mathematics with the symbol 0. Zero means nothing. It means empty. It means no number. In counting numbers, 0 comes before 1

 

ACTIVITY

• Trace and copy the zeros in fig 1A below.
• Identify and underline the zero in fig 1b

Reducing Numbers By One( 1)

• Connect the numbers backwards

             

5 less 1 = 4

4 less 1 = 3

3 less 1 = 2

2 less 1 = 1

1 less 1 = 0
