SUBTOPIC: ADDITION OF WHOLE NUMBERS WITH SUM LESS THAN 10
In the last lesson, we added whole numbers whose sum is less than 5, today we will be adding whole numbers whose sum is less than 10.
Now bring out your counters and count out 10 pieces.
ACTIVITY
- Bring out your ten fingers and count
- i) 1 finger and 2 fingers
- ii) 2 fingers and 3 fingers
iii) 4 fingers and 1 finger
Tell your friend how much you counted in each case.
