Welcome to class.

Nigeria food consist of dishes or food items from hundred of  ethnic group that comprises Nigeria. It uses spices and herbs with palm oil or groundnut oil to create deeply flavored sauces and soups. Nigeria food are simply and easy to make. All Nigeria food comes in different taste and recipes.

VARIOUS TYPES OF NIGERIA FOOD

  1. EGUSI SOUP: is one of the most popular Nigeria food eaten by all tribe. It is made with grounded melon seed, other ingredients includes seafood, red meat and onion. Egusi soup is served with pounded yam, Fufu or Garri.
  2. EFO RIRO: is a Yoruba delicacy originated from western Nigeria. It is a vegetable stew made with vegetable and meat.
  3. AFANG SOUP: is originated from the south south state. It is cooked with Afang leaf and waterleaf together with meat, dried fish snail and seasoning. It is often served with Fufu or Garri
  4. JOLLOF RICE: it is popular across other west Africa countries. It is quick and easy to prepare. It is served on certain special occasion as well as other social event.
