Security agencies are government organization which conducts intelligence activities for the internal security of the nation.
The primary role of security agencies is to maintain law and order and prevent crime.
Examples of Security Agencies
- The Nigerian Police Forces: they protect the citizens from any harm
- The State Security System
- The National Intelligence Agency (NIA): The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) is a Nigerian government agency responsible for overseeing foreign intelligence and counter intelligence operations.
- The Nigerian Army
- The Nigerian Navy
- The Nigerian Air Force
