Stencil Work

Welcome to class.

Stencil work is a thin sheet of material such as paper or plastic with letters or a design cut from it used to produce the letters or design on an underlying surface by applying pigment through in the cut out holes in the materials.

TYPES OF STENCIL WORK.

  1. Scrapbooking.
  2. Quailing Stencil.
  3. Glass paint.
  4. Fabric Paint.
  5. Spray Paint.

STEPS IN MAKING A STENCIL

STEP 1: Prepare or gather your supplies.

STEP 2: Cut holes through the image on the Fabric.

STEP 3: Sound and glue the inside of your stencil to smooth it out.

STEP 4: Test it out.

STEP 5: Paint it.
