Jesus calls little children to come to him Matthew 19:13-15
Jesus loves little children. He said the kingdom of heaven is for people like them. He stopped his disciples from forbidding the little children from coming to him. Though he was tired, he still allowed them to be brought to him. He calls little children to himself.
Jesus calls his disciples friend john 15:13-15
Jesus calls his disciples his friend because they do always that what he wants them to do. When our lives are pleasing to him, we become his friends. Jesus related with his disciples as a friend not as master. He does not hide anything from them. He still wants to be friends with us today just like he related with the disciples.
We are also the friends of Jesus if we obey him at all times by doing those things that he commands us to do according to the word of God. We show that we are his friends when we love him by loving others. By doing good to others we also prove that we love him because when he was on the earth he went about doing good to everyone he meets. The lord Jesus delight in those who do these things.
