What is Technology?

Technology is the use of knowledge to invent new devices or tools. Throughout history, technology has made people’s lives easier.  When technology is put into practical use, it solves problems or invent useful tools.

Benefits of technology

1. It improves knowledge retention
2. Pupils can learn useful skills through technology
3. It encourages creativity and freedom of expression
4. It helps in building relationship with others
5. It allows for independence.
6. It enhances learning.

Examples of technology we can find around us are: Cars, Camera, mobile phones, wristwatches, computers, Televison etc
