Common Crimes

Violent Crimes
Homicide: This is categorized as intentional, unintentional, and negligent killings, including murders and manslaughter, and the impact on communities and families.
Assault: This is physical violence or threat of violence, which can lead to physical harm, fear, and trauma among individuals.
Property Crimes
Burglary: This is unlawful entry into residential, commercial, or institutional properties with the intent to commit a theft or any other felony.
Robbery: This is the serious nature of using force or the threat of force to carry out theft from an individual or property.
Economic Crimes
Fraud: These are various forms of fraudulent activities such as identity theft, financial scams, and advance-fee fraud, and their impact on victims and society at large.
Corruption: This is the detrimental impact of corrupt practices and abuse of public office on national development and public trust.
Cybercrimes
Cyber Fraud: This is a form of identity theft, online scams, phishing, and the unauthorized access to personal or organization’s data and the associated ramifications.
Cyberbullying: This is a form of online harassment, cyberstalking, and other forms of abusive behavior through digital platforms.
