JESUS WANT US TO MAKE FRIENDS
People who make friends in the bible.
A. David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18:1-15)
- Jonathan was the son of king Saul
- David was the son of Jesse
- David and Jonathan were good friends
- One day king Saul,the father of Jonathan wanted to kill David.
- Jonathan told David and helped Him to escape to the cave.
- Jonathan gave David clothes, food, and also play with Him in the cave.
B. A friend at midnight (Luke 11: 5-8)
Jesus told us a story of a man who had a visitor at midnight. the man had no food to give His visitors, he went to his friends house that night and begged for food. His friends had already slept off but he woke up and gave the man food to give his visitor. Friend help each other.
C. Jesus and Lazarus
- Lazarus lived with his two sister Mary and Martha. in a town called Bethany
- They were all friend of Jesus.
- One day Lazarus became sick. His sister sent messages to Jesus.
- Before Jesus arrived Lazarus had died and was buried
- When Jesus came back he ask them to take Him to the place where they buried him
- He prayed to God and shouted, ”Lazarus come out “
- God helped Jesus to bring His friends Lazarus back to life
- Immediately Lazarus woke up and came back to life
