HELLO CHILDREN, WELCOME BACK TO CLASS
A 3- dimensional shape is one that has length, breadth and depth. Three-dimensional shapes, by their nature, have an inside and an outside, separated by a surface. All physical items, things you can touch, are three-dimensional. Examples of 3-dimensional shapes are cube, cuboid, sphere, and cylinder.
A sphere and a cylinder have what is called curved surface areas
Cubes and cuboid also have what we call corner of vertex
ACTIVITY
- Count the corners in a cuboid and a cube. How many are they?
- List items in the home and school that have the shape of a cube and a cuboid.
