Pointing: The mouse helps us move a tiny arrow on the screen called the “pointer.” We can point at things on the screen to select them, like icons, buttons, and links.
Clicking: The buttons on the mouse are used for clicking. When you click on something, you’re telling the computer, “I want to do something with this.” It’s like tapping on the screen but more precise.
Double-Clicking: Sometimes, you need to double-click to open files or programs. It means you quickly click the mouse button twice in a row.
Right-Clicking: The right mouse button has special functions. When you right-click on something, a menu pops up with options like copying, pasting, or deleting.
Dragging: You can use the mouse to drag and drop things. For example, you can drag a file and drop it into a folder to move it.
Scrolling: Many mice have a scroll wheel in the middle. You can use it to scroll up and down on a web page or document.
