    National Diploma Programmes

    SSCE or WASCE or GCE ‘O’ Level or NECO or NABTEB with at least 5 Credits obtained at not more than 2 sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects related to the programme of study.

    Mature Candidates:

    Candidates with lower qualifications than the above requirements but with at least three (3) relevant credits and two (2) Passes could be considered for admission into the National Diploma Programme only, provided such candidates are not below the age of 40 years and have a minimum of 15 years work experience at SUPERVISORY LEVEL.

    How to Apply for LASPOTECH ND Part-Time Admission.

    Applicants are expected to:

    • Log on to LASPOTECH’s website at https://www.mylaspotech.edu.ng/
    • Click on the ‘”2020/2021 Admission Applications” link on the Navigator plane.
    • Select the programme i.e. “Part-Time ND”.
    • Click on “Continue”.
    • Fill the profile form and choose a suitable username as your username and password of your choice (your password should contain alphabet, numbers and/or symbols) not less than 7 in characters, supply a valid and working email address and GSM number;
    • Then, Click on “Continue”
    • Log in with your username and password;
    • Click on ”Pay”(you will make use of a Web enabled ATM card. Master or Verve card for your payment).
    • Candidates are expected to make payment of the sum of seven thousand five hundred naira only (N7,500) only, exclusive of Bank charges.
    • Complete your application as appropriate
    • Fill the application form provided. Ensure that you provide accurate data at all times. In addition to your personal information, you will be required to provide your WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB result as well as previous educational history.
    • Candidates are expected to scan and upload their O’level result.
    • Ensure you print out your Application form, and receipt of payment and keep them safely.
    • You will be required to upload a colour passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size

    Steps to complete the application form:

    Create an account on the portal.

    Generate RRR and make payment using your debit card or through any bank. The cost of application form is as indicated below:

    Degree programme: Five thousand naira (N5, 000) only (including screening charges).

    PGD programme: Ten thousand naira (N10, 000) only.

    Go back to the portal through your account and complete all necessary forms and submit your application.

    Printout the application form.

    Ensure that the online form is carefully and correctly completed as corrections on personal information or change of course after completion of online application and submission will attract a fee.

    It is mandatory for DE and PGD applicants to make an arrangement with their previous institutions to forward a hard copy of their Transcript to the Secretary, Directorate of Degree programme, Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), P.M.B. 05, Vom, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. No candidate will be considered for admission without a valid transcript.

    All candidates for PGD must also print two copies of Referee Forms and return sealed copies of the forms with the application form.

    PGD applicants without NYSC discharge or exemption certificate need NOT apply.

    The Social Science Research Council offers fellowships to support the completion of doctoral degrees and to promote Next Generation Social Science research in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. The fellowships support dissertation research on peace, security, and development topics.

    The management of Next Generation Social Sciences in Africa program provides fellowships to nurture the intellectual development and increase retention of early-career faculties in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.

    Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), formerly Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta was established in January 1979. In a recent post made on Facebook on 10th of November, 2020 concerning second-semester registration for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) returning students.

    The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, hereby advises all returning (i.e NDII and HNDII) students to commence their second-semester registrations immediately.

    This is in line with the Academic Board revised calendar for the 2019/2020 academic session, which approved Monday, 9th November 2020 as the beginning of the second semester for the returning students.

    Management, therefore, warned all returning National Diploma and Higher National Diploma students to complete their registrations on or before Saturday, 21st November 2020 to avoid being penalized.

    All students are advised to continuously observe COVID-19 protocols within and outside the Polytechnic premises, as the official surveillance will apprehend violators of the preventive measures on campus.

    UPDATE ON the UNIVERSITY OF BENIN (UNIBEN) POST-UTME FORM AND SCREENING ACADEMIC SESSION FOR 2020/2021.

    UNIBEN Post UTME Screening

    The management of University of Benin (UNIBEN) informs all candidates who chose the institution as their first choice that the Post-UTME form and screening for 2020/2021 is out.

    The Post UTME Screening Exercise for 2020/2021 Academic Session; will take place between 2nd December and 12th December, 2020 in designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the University.

    The Screening Exercise shall be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the stipulated time for their screening exercise

    Candidates Eligible for UNIBEN Post UTME.

    Candidate must have the following:

    1. Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2020/2021 UTME Admission and chose the University of Benin as First Choice and scored 200 and above are eligible for this Screening Exercise
    2. Obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent. The subjects must include the English Language and Mathematics (for courses for which a credit in mathematics is required) as well as three other relevant subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings.

    How to Apply for UNIBEN Post UTME Form.

    The procedure for the 2020/2021 Admission Screening application is as follows:

    1. Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.
    2. Visit edu
    3. Click on Student Portal
    4. Click on WAEUP Portal.
    5. Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
    6. Enter your Surname exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip and your JAMB Registration Number, immediately your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser.
    7. On the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal click on ‘Login’ (top right of front page).
    8. Enter your Username and password to log in.
    9. To start the application process, please click on the ‘Application record’ provide all the required information and upload your passport photograph.
    10. Upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1 x 1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. Great care should also be taken to follow the specified formats on the UNIBEN website and portal. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeiture of admission.
    11. To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “pay via Remita” on the top left corner of the page. Follow the instruction to pay the application GROSS fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) with a valid ATM-Enabled card from any commercial Bank in Nigeria.
    12. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
    13. Go back online on the appointed date to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule.

    The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Nigeria wishes to inform all registered candidates for WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2020-Second Series and the general public that there has been a change in timetable.

    The examination, which was initially scheduled to commence on Saturday, November 14, 2020 will no longer hold as planned, due to circumstances beyond our control. The examination has now been rescheduled to commence on Monday, November 30, 2020.

    The Council wishes to reassure candidates that the new timetable for the conduct of the examination will be released soon.

    COURSE DETAILS OF NYSC 2020 BATCH ‘B’ STREAM 1A ORIENTATION COURSE DETAILS

    NYSC 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1A

    The National Youth Service Corps NYSC 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1A Orientation Course is scheduled to hold in all NYSC Orientation Camps. NYSC 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1A Orientation Course details have been published and the details go as follows:

    1. (a) Commencement/Registration: Tuesday, 10th November, 2020
      (b) Cut-off date for Registration; Midnight Friday, 13th November, 2020
      (c) Swearing-In Ceremony: Monday, 16th November, 2020
      (d) Closing Ceremony: Monday, 30th November, 2020
    2. All Prospective Corps Members must present themselves for Covid-19 test at the camp before registration.
    3. Prospective Corps members are to fill Covid-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) self-reprinting form and print verification slip to be presented in camp for the covid-19 test.
    4. All prospective Corps Members slated for the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1A Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective Camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the camp with their International Passport and original copies of all uploaded documents.
    5. National Diploma (ND) Certificate will be presented in addition to other relevant documents by Prospective Corps Members of Mono/Polytechnic as pre-condition for registration at the Orientation Camps nationwide.
    6. Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised not to present any fake document for registration at the Orientation Camp. Management has put in place adequate types of machinery to clamp down and prosecute anyone caught.
    7. In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the prospective Corps Member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her institution is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit and thereafter report to the institution of graduation for further necessary action. Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can re-print the Call-up Letter in the case of loss.
    8. Any person who fails to report for service in the Service Corps as directed in the Call-up Letter and/or refuses to make himself available for service in the Service Corps shall be prosecuted in line with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
    9. Also, any person who is not eligible to participate in the Service Corps or has been duly issued with a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but so participates or attempts to so participate shall be prosecuted in line with Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
    10. In observance of Covid-19 protocols, Prospective Corps Members are to strictly abide by all preventive guidelines and use the provisions made on camp for handwashing etc. Every Prospective Corps Member is therefore expected to come to camp with enough face masks and personal pocket-size hand sanitizer.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

    (a) Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed on-line

    (b) Original Statement of Result or Certificate endorsed by authorized officer with authentic signature.

    (c) School Identity Card

    (d) Foreign graduates must present International Passport and original copies of all uploaded documents

    (e) Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Radiographers, Optometrists and graduates of Health Record & Information Management are to produce evidence of Registration with their Professional Bodies.

    (f) In addition, each Prospective Corps Member MUST present Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital affixed with Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Stamp showing his/her health status before he/she will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.
