Welcome to class!
In today’s class, we’re going to embark on a thrilling adventure to discover living things in various places – from your classroom to your school and even your very own home. Get ready to spot the amazing life that surrounds us everywhere!
Living Things in the Classroom, School, and Home
Alright, my inquisitive minds, today’s journey is all about uncovering the living treasures that hide in plain sight – from the places where you learn to the spaces where you play. Just as you find hidden surprises in your favorite books, let’s find the living wonders around us!
Living Things in the Classroom
Imagine you’re sitting at your desk, ready to learn. Look around – what living things do you see? Maybe there’s a potted plant on the windowsill or a class pet like a fish or a hamster. These are living things that share your learning space.
Living Things in the School
Think about the hallways, the playground, and the garden at your school. What living things call these places home? You might spot trees, flowers, birds, and maybe even butterflies fluttering by. They’re all part of the living community at your school.
Pretend you’re a wildlife explorer! Create a “living things checklist” and take it with you to different places – your classroom, school, and home. Whenever you spot a living thing, check it off your list. You’re a living thing detective on a mission!
Living Things at Home
Imagine you’re back in your cozy space – your home. Look around – what living things do you see? Maybe you have a pet like a dog or a cat. Don’t forget the plants on your windowsill or in the garden outside. Even insects like butterflies or ants are living things at home.
Learning About Living Things
Go on a “living things scavenger hunt” with a grown-up. Explore your classroom, school, and home, and see how many living things you can find. Write down or draw pictures of each living thing you discover.
Today, we embarked on an exciting journey to identify and name living things in different places – the classroom, school, and home. We realized that life surrounds us everywhere we go!
Time for creativity! Design a “Living Things Collage.” Collect pictures or draw images of living things you find in the classroom, school, and home. Arrange them on a large paper to create a living things masterpiece.
This weekend, explore your school and home with a grown-up. Look for living things in each place – plants, animals, insects, and more. Make a list or take pictures to share your living things adventure with us!
We have come to the end of today’s class. I hope you enjoyed the class!
In the next class we shall be discussing Non- Living Things. Look forward to it!
