Welcome to class!
In today’s class, we’re going to use our special detective skills to observe and identify things around our school, playground, school farm, and garden.
Observation and Identification of Things in and Around the School
Imagine we’re going on a scavenger hunt around our school! As we walk through the playground, what do you see? Swings, slides, or maybe a sandbox? These are some things we can find on the playground.
Example and Drama: Let’s pretend to be bees flying around the school garden. 🐝 Buzz, buzz! Look at the colorful flowers in the garden. Can you smell their sweet fragrance? Now, tell me, what else can you find in the garden besides flowers?
Points with Examples: Have you ever seen a tree with big, shady leaves? That’s part of our school farm. Trees give us shade and even yummy fruits like apples and oranges! Can you think of any other things we might find on our school farm?
Real-life Identification: Have you spotted any birds flying around our school? Birds love to make nests in trees. They lay eggs and take care of their baby birds. We can observe the nests they build!
In case you forget. Today, we learned how to observe and identify things in and around our school, like the playground, school farm, and garden. We discovered swings, slides, flowers, trees, and even bird nests.
We have finally come to the end of today’s class. Hope you enjoyed the class.
In the next class, we shall be discussing Observation and Identification of Things in and Around the Home.
Class Work: Your assignment is to draw a picture of one thing you saw during our virtual scavenger hunt. Write its name next to your drawing.
Assignment: Over the weekend, go for a walk with your family and see what you can find in your own neighborhood. Maybe you’ll spot some birds or pretty flowers!
