The calculation of the height of an object is achieved by the measurement of its distance from the object. This includes the angle of elevation at the top of the object while calculating the height. The tangent of the angle is considered as the height of the object, which is divided by the distance from the object.
I Heights of trees and buildings indicate how tall they are. Their heights distinguish one building or tree from another.
The trees and the buildings in the pictures above are of different heights.
Distance tells how far a place is from a particular point. Example, Lagos to Ibadan is a shorter distance than Lagos to Abuja.
