Primary And Secondary Colour

Welcome to class. I trust you are doing fine. Let’s get started with the class.

Colour is the characteristics of human visual perception. It is also the sensation created in the eyes by the breakdown of white light from the light waves.

In art colour is seen as pigment applied to a surface.

Types of colour

  1. Primary colour: Are colours that occurs naturally and can not be made by mixing of other colour.

Example; Yellow, Blue, Red

  1. Secondary colours: Is obtained by mixure of two primary colours

Example:

Yellow + Blue = Green

Red + Blue = Purple

Red + Yellow = Orange

Evaluation:  List the secondary colours
