How to raise livestock (farm animal)
In rearing chicken, the following procedures should be followed:
- Construct a house: different materials can be used. Sawdust can also be added to make the place warm.
- Provide a shelter: the constructed house should be shaded from direct sun
- Buy the young animal to be reared: the chicks to be reared are bought and placed in the built house.
- Provision of food: adequate supply of food should be made available regularly.
- Provision of water daily: clean water should be kept constantly in their drinking troughs.
- Provide medication when necessary: they should be vaccinated when necessary and inspected regularly.
- Clean the house regularly: their environment should be swept and kept clean at all times. If saw dust is used, it should be removed and replaced regularly.
- Routine check by veterinary personnel should be scheduled at regular intervals.
