Internet Use
Appropriate Websites: Students should only use the internet for school-related activities. This will help to prevent the use of inappropriate websites.
Downloading Files: Students should not download any files from the internet without the permission of the instructor. This is to prevent the download of malicious software.
Online Communication: Students should not use the internet to communicate with others in an inappropriate or disrespectful manner.
Safety
Electrical Safety: Students should not touch any electrical cords or outlets. This will help to prevent electrical shock.
Report Spills: Students should immediately report any spills to the instructor. This will help to prevent damage to the equipment.
Report Problems: Students should report any problems with the equipment to the instructor. This will help to ensure that the equipment is repaired promptly.
Consequences of Violating Rules
Violations of the computer laboratory rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action, including:
Warning: A warning will be issued for the first offense.
Detention: Detention will be assigned for the second offense.
Suspension: Suspension from the computer laboratory will be assigned for the third offense.
