Responsible parenthood is the ability of parents to respect and respond to the needs and aspirations of the family and children.

NOTE: Parents should detect the needs, happiness and desire of children in helping them to become responsible and reasonable children.

 

SAFE AGE FOR REPRODUCTION

There is no facts and rules as to the safe age for reproduction. One thing is certain that reproduction can only occur when one is mature to do so. It is not only maturity, but also your readiness to take responsibility.

The following questions below are to be answered sincerely to proving how ready we are:

  1. Are you matured enough, physically, emotionally and socially?
  2. Have you finished schooling?
  3. Are you compatible with your partner?
  4. Do you have a good job to take care of the family you are about to be raising?

  2. Parent should educate their children about their community.
  3. Parents should teach their children about security in the environment.
  4. Parents are to guide their children on the right path to success in life.
  5. Parents must protect the child from abuse from other parents or other household member.
  6. Parents are to take care of their child’s biological needs like recreation time, sleeping, etc.

 

QUALITY OF A RESPONSIBLE PARENT

  1. Parent should cooperate with each other.
  2. Love for your child.
  3. Respect the child.
  4. Care for the child
  5. Parent should be honest and tolerance to each other.
  6. parent should live peacefully.

 

CONSEQUENCES OF INDISCRIMINATE OR IRRESPONSIBLE SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR

  1. Unsafe abortion
  2. Health risk
  3. Termination of education
  4. Disruption of life plans and career goals
  5. Poverty and low income
  6. Loneliness and depression
  7. Feeling insecure
  8. Guilt and fear
