Ngwa Ụkaomume (Verb Conjugation in Igbo)
N’izu a, anyị ga-elekwasị anya n’ụdị mgbanwe ụka na asụsụ Igbo, ma ọ bụ ihe a na-akpọ ngwa ụkaomume. Ngwa ụkaomume bụ ụzọ e si eme mgbanwe n’ọrụ ụka dịka oge na-agbanwe. Nke a pụtara na ụka na-agbanwe dịka ọ dị n’oge gara aga, ugbu a, ma ọ bụ ọdịnihu.
Oge Gara Aga (Past Tense)
N’Igbo, e jiri ụzọ dị iche iche gosi oge gara aga site n’iji mgba ngwa dị ka “gwara” (told), “gere” (listened), wdg.
– Ọ gara ụlọ ahịa (He/she went to the market).
– Ha gwara m okwu (They told me something).
Oge Ugbu A (Present Tense)
Ụka na oge ugbu a na-egosi ihe na-eme ugbu a ma ọ bụ ihe onye na-eme n’oge ahụ.
– Ọ na-agba bọọlụ (He/she is playing football).
– Anyị na-eri nri (We are eating).
Oge Ụdịnihu (Future Tense)
Na mgbe ọdịnihu, a na-eji okwu dị ka “ga-” gosipụta ihe ga-eme n’ọdịnihu.
– Ọ ga-abịa (He/she will come).
– Ha ga-eje ụlọ akwụkwọ (They will go to school).
Ịghọta ngwa ụkaomume dị mkpa maka iji ụka kpọọ ihe site n’iji oge dị iche iche nke ga-eme ka ị na-asụ Igbo nke ọma.
Otu ị ga-esi weta ọmụmụ a n’ọrụ:
– Were ụka 5, mee ha n’oge dị iche iche (gara aga, ugbu a, ọdịnihu).
– Ọrụ 1: Were ụka “gba” (to play) n’oge dị iche iche.
– Gara aga: O gbara egwu** (He/she danced).
– Ugbu a: O na-agba egwu (He/she is dancing).
– Ụdịnihu: O ga-agba egwu (He/she will dance).
Ajụjụ Nnyocha
- Gbanwee mkpụrụokwu ndị a site n’oge ugbua gaa n’oge gara aga:
– (a) Ọ na-asa akwa.
– (b) Ha na-agba bọọlụ.
– (c) Anyị na-eri nri.
- Dee ihe ndị a n’Igbo na iji oge ọdịnihu (Future Tense):
– (a) She will go to school.
– (b) We will cook food.
– (c) They will write a letter.
- Hụ ụka ndị dị na mkpụrụokwu ndị a, kọwaa oge ejiri ha na ya:
– (a) O gere ntị.
– (b) Anyị ga-agba egwu.
– (c) Ọ na-asa ụgbọala.
