TYPES OF NIGERIA ART

1. IFE ART: It is an artwork found in Ile-Ife town in Osun State. It has a fine line all over its faces.

 FUNCTION

1. It is used for ritual.
2. It is used for workshop.
3. It is used for royal symbol.

2. NOK ART: Is the oldest works of art in black Africa. It was found in Nok Village in Plateau State. It is made of find Clay known as Terracotta. It has pierced eyes and widely open mouth.

FUNCTION

1. It is used for ritual.
2. It is used for worship.
3. It is used for festivity.
