AIR BAGS, SEAT BELT AND STEERING
Three aspects of internal parts of a motor or car we will be discussing today are Air bags, seat belt and steering. Let’s discuss them one after the other.
i. AIR BAG
An ‘ ‘airbag’ ‘ is a vehicle occupant-restraint system using a bag designed to inflate and save humans head quickly from hitting something and any kinds of accident or collisions. The air bags consist of airbag cushion, a flexible fabric bag, an inflation module, and an impact sensor.
A car can have two or more than 3 air bags, located at various places in the car.
ii. SEAT BELT
A seat belt is also known as safety belt) is a vehicle safety device designed to secure a passenger of a vehicle against harmful movement that may result during a collision or a sudden stop. A seat belt reduces the likelihood of death or serious injury in a traffic collision by reducing the force.
iii. STEERING
A steering is one of the important internal parts of a vehicle that convert the steering rotational wheel of a car into a movement of the car. Thereby, giving it directions.
