Common Uses of Water
Drinking Water
This one is pretty obvious, Right?! Water is the source of life, and we need it to stay hydrated. Our bodies are about 60% water, and drinking clean water keeps us healthy and refreshed.
Cooking and Food Preparation
Water is a magical ingredient in the kitchen. We use it to cook pasta, rice, and vegetables, and it helps create soups, stews, and sauces. Water also helps fruits and veggies grow on farms.
Cleaning and Hygiene
Water is our cleaning ally. We use it to wash our hands, brush our teeth, take showers, and do laundry. It keeps us clean and fresh every day.
Home and Environment
We use water to clean our homes, from mopping floors to washing windows. Water is also essential for maintaining gardens, lawns, and plants around our homes.
Industry and Manufacturing
Industries use water in many processes, like cooling machinery, producing electricity, and making products. Water helps factories run smoothly and efficiently.
Energy Production
Water plays a big role in generating electricity. Hydropower plants use the energy from moving water to create power, which lights up our homes and runs our devices.

Water is for fun too! We swim, play in sprinklers, go fishing, and enjoy water parks and pools on hot summer days. Water offers endless entertainment.
