Great people in our land are people who have contributed to influencing our land in various ways. These are Nigeria men and women we admire in Nigeria and has made great impact.
1. CHIEF MKO ABIOLA ( August 27 1937-July 7 1998)
He was a philanthropic, he provided financial assistance in the construction of secondary school, mosque, church and libraries and water project. He established Abiola bookshop to provide affordable locally produced textbook. When imported textbook became out of reach for ordinary Nigeria as naira was devalued. He also made available daily necessities such as rice and soap at affordable price in the market.
2. INNOCENT UJAH IDIBIA ( 2 FACE IDIBIA )
He is one of the most decorated and successful afro pop artist in Africa. He established an NGO called 3 face Idibia reach out foundation.
3. DORA AKINYILI
She was the director general of national agency for food and drug administration control (NAFDAC) of Nigeria. She was recognized for her work in public health and human right. She eradicates the counterfeit of drugs and unsafe food.
3. AKINWUMMI AMBODE
He is the former governor of Lagos state. He founded the nonprofit L ROCHE leadership foundation and his goal is to install Nigeria and Lagos state flag in the government owned school in Lagos state.
