Traditional wears are products of our culture while culture is the way we think, dress, belief. There are over two hundred ethnic groups in Nigeria with various cultural dress.
TYPES OF TRADITIONAL WEARS
- YORUBA MEN: The Yoruba men puts on Sokoto, Dansiki, Agbada, Aso-Ofi, Fila.
- YORUBA WOMEN: The Yoruba women puts on Buba, Iro, Gele, Abeti – Aja
- THE IGBO MEN: The Igbo men puts on Aposhe, Isi-Agu while the Igbo women puts on George wrapper with damask blouse.
- THE HAUSA MEN: Puts on Babrija while the Hausa women puts on Abayi.
IMPORTANCE OF TRADITIONAL WEARS

- It is a way of identifying ourselves
- It gives value
