Welcome to class!

In today’s class, we’re going to be talking about the sources of insecurity. I trust you will enjoy the class!

Sources of Insecurity

Hello, young explorers! Today we’re going on a safety adventure to learn about the things that can make us feel unsafe, called “sources of insecurity.” It’s important to know these so we can stay safe and sound!

Insecurity is when we feel unsure or scared because there might be danger. It’s like when you’re not sure if there’s a monster under the bed. But don’t worry, we can learn how to chase those monsters away!

Common Sources of Insecurity

Sources of Insecurity

  1. Strangers

Just like in the story of Little Red Riding Hood, strangers can be a source of insecurity. We should always be with a trusted adult when around people we don’t know.

  1. Unsafe Buildings

Buildings that look old and broken, like the witch’s house in Hansel and Gretel, can be unsafe. We should stay away from them to avoid getting hurt.

  1. Fire

Fire, like the dragon’s breath, can be very dangerous. We should never play with matches or fire.

  1. Natural Disasters

Sometimes nature can get angry, like a giant stomping around. Storms, floods, and strong winds can make us feel insecure. It’s best to stay indoors when they happen.

  1. Threats

A threat is when someone says they will do something bad, like the giant who threatens Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk. If someone threatens us, we should tell a trusted adult right away.

 How to Stay Safe

– Know the Safe Places: Like a treasure map, know where to go when you feel insecure.

– Talk to Trusted Adults: Like a superhero team, trusted adults can help keep us safe.

– Stay Away from Danger: Like the three little pigs, we build our safety house strong by staying away from danger.

Remember, brave kids, knowing about these sources of insecurity helps us stay safe. Always talk to your parents, teachers, or guardians if you feel insecure. Together, we can keep the monsters away and have a happy adventure!

We have come to the end of today’s class. I hope you enjoyed the class!
