Who is God? – God is all Powerful

– Understanding ‘All-Powerful’:

  – Being all-powerful means having unlimited power or authority. God’s power is greater than anything we can imagine.

 – God’s Power:

Who is God? - God is all Powerful

  – God is often called “Omnipotent,” which means He can do anything that is in harmony with His character.

  – He created the whole universe and everything in it by just speaking.

 Stories of God’s Power

– Biblical Examples:

  – The story of creation in Genesis shows God’s power to create the world.

  – Jesus calming the storm shows that God has power over nature.

 God’s Power in Our Lives

Who is God? - God is all Powerful

– How We See God’s Power Today:

  – We see God’s power in the world around us, in answered prayers, and in the miracles that happen every day.

  – God’s power is also shown in the way He helps us when we are in trouble or afraid.


– Remembering God’s Power:

  – Encourage the children to think of times when they have seen or felt God’s power in their own lives.

  – Finish with a prayer, thanking God for being all-powerful and asking for His help to trust in His power.

Class Activities

Powerful God Art:

  – I want you to draw a picture of something powerful like a mountain or the ocean and talk about how God’s power is even greater.

Story Time:

  – I also want you to share a story from the Bible that shows God’s power, like David defeating Goliath.
