A dye is a colored substance that is used to change the color of the fabric. Materials used in making dye stuff and fabric.
- A piece of cotton fabric.
- Stick or wood.
- Candle wax.
- Plastic Bowl.
- Rubber Gloves.
- Pot or Pan.
- Water
DYE STUFF
STEP OR PROCESS IN MAKING DYE STUFF
STEP 1: Wash the piece of clothes to get it free from dirt.
STEP 2: Told the fabric into strips and dye it with string or raffia ropes
STEP 3: Add dyestuff in water and stir it.
STEP 4: Put the fabric into it and leave to steep in the dye.
STEP 5: Rinse the fabric in cold water to remove to dry and iron to remove creases.
