In today’s Catering Crafts class, we will be learning about Alcoholic Drinks.
Taking a flashback to our first class on Beverages, we learned that Beverages are any drink other than water.
We also learned that beverages could either be Alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Now, we are going to look at Alcoholic beverages.
An alcoholic drink is a drink containing ethanol, commonly known as alcohol.
Alcoholic drinks are divided into three general classes, and they are: beers, wines and spirits.
Beer is brewed at various places in different countries and is mainly top-fermented. For instance, in Nigeria, one of the top manufacturers of Beer is the Nigerian Breweries.
Also, in Asia, Indian rums have developed a reputation for smoothness and flavors. The demand for India’s Alcoholic Beverages products like Beer Made from Malt in India is increasing due to increasing income level.
In most countries, like Nigeria, the acceptable age for drinking alcohol is 18 years and above. This means if you are not yet an adult, you should totally refrain from alcohol consumption.
Alcoholic Beverages include Wine, White Wine, Other Wine, Grapes.
Brandy, Whiskies, Rum, gin and other Gin. have increased in the global market. India is the third-largest market for alcoholic beverages in the world.
While alcohol is regarded as a type of beverage, consuming it in excess can damage the human liver.
