How to Catch:

Hands ready: Keep your hands open and ready to catch the ball.

Watch the ball: Look at the ball coming toward you. It’s like following a shooting star!

Soft hands: When the ball comes, catch it gently, like you’re catching a feather.

Throwing the Ball:

Throwing is like sharing the ball with your friends. Imagine you’re passing a special gift to them!

How to Throw:

Hold with both hands: Hold the ball with both hands, like you’re holding a yummy sandwich.

Use your wrists: Move your wrists to make the ball go where you want it to.

Say, “Here you go!” when you pass it, so your friend knows the ball is coming.

Let’s practice! Stand with a friend. One of you throws the ball, and the other catches it. Then switch roles!

Remember: Practice Makes Perfect!

Catching is an interesting activity, and the more you practice catching and throwing, the better you’ll become at basketball. Keep practicing and having fun!

Now you know how to catch and throw like basketball pros! Keep practicing, and you’ll become amazing basketball players in no time!
