Honesty

Welcome to class.

Honesty is the quality of being truthful in all things at all times. It refers to the ability and decision to resist the urge to tell lies; give accurate information, say or do what you are not supposed to say or do and pretend to be who and you are not. It is the decision to be fair and just in one’s activities.

Honesty is one of the positive values that God wants us to show and adopt as a way of life. It prevents a negative lifestyle.

Honesty is when you speak the truth and act truthfully. … Many children think honesty means you “don’t tell a lie”– and that is definitely part of being honest. But honesty means more than not lying.
