In the previous lessons we learnt how to count and write numbers 1 – 50. Let’s refresh our memories by writing 1 – 50 in the table below

We can also write 51 – 100 in the same way.

51 is written 5 and 1. The next will be 5 and 2, then 5 and 3 and so on.

52 is  5 and  2

53 is  5 and 3 and so

ACTIVITY

• Complete 54 – 59
• After 59 you have 60
• Complete the table below by removing 1, 2, 3 etc

After 69(6 and 9) you have 70(7 and 0). So, after 99(9 and 9) we will have 100(10 and 0)
