SUBTOPIC: MATCHING OF FRACTION WITH CORRECT DIVIDED OBJECTS.
In the previous class, we saw fractions as part of a whole. One whole object can be divided into several parts, each part being a portion or fraction of the whole object.
When a whole object is divided into two, each part is called HALF and written as (Pronounced 1 over 2).
When a whole is divided into four parts, each of the four parts is a portion or fraction of the whole. Each is written as and it’s called QUARTER.
