Mouse Techniques
A mouse is an input device that is used for controlling the cursor on the computer monitor to point and select the object or give command on the computer screen. It is usually placed on a mouse pad.
Some of the mouse techniques include:
- Clicking
- Pointing
- Double-clicking
- Right-clicking
- Dragging

Clicking:
Clicking involves pressing and releasing the left button of the mouse once.

Pointing:
Pointing is the art of moving the mouse to move the on-screen pointer.

Double-clicking:
Double-clicking is when the left button of the mouse is pressed twice and thereafter released.
Right-clicking involves pressing and releasing the right button of the mouse.

Dragging:
Dragging is when the left button of the mouse is held down as you move the pointer.
