Our Story Adventure: Jack and His House

Once upon a time, in a little village, there lived a clever squirrel named Jack. Jack wanted to build a strong, cozy house for himself and his friends. But guess what? The house wasn’t just any house – it was a house that Jack built, piece by piece! 

Can you imagine the house getting taller and cozier with each part? Awesome!

Do you know what’s even more fun? Creating our own stories! Imagine you’re the hero of a story. What exciting adventure would you go on? Share it with me using simple words, just like Jack and his house!

Imagine you’re one of the characters in the story. How would you make sure your friends stay safe on the roads? 

Sharing Your Ideas:

Now, let’s all take turns sharing our stories. Remember, there are no wrong answers in our story circle! I want to hear your creative ideas.

We use words to understand stories, just like we’re doing now. Can you remember a word that means “to be careful and avoid danger”? That’s right, it’s “safety”!

Okay, it’s time for your detective challenge! Find a story in a book or online. Read it or listen carefully, then tell me what the story is about. You’re becoming fantastic story detectives!

Why are stories important? And who is the clever squirrel in our adventure today? 

Weekend Assignment 

Over the weekend, create a mini-story about an adventure you’d like to go on. Use the magic of words to tell us all about it. Remember, your story can be as wild and creative as you want!
