Basic Computer Operations – Meaning of computer
What is a Computer?
A computer is like a magic machine. It can help us do so many cool things!
Think of a computer as a super smart friend. It can talk to us, show us pictures, and play games with us. It’s like having a special helper.
Examples:
Imagine if you had a robot friend who could tell you stories and draw pictures. That’s what a computer does!
Have you seen your grown-ups using a phone or a laptop? Those are computers too.
Now, let’s explore some things computers can do:
Talking: Computers can say “Hello” and talk to us. Can you say “Hello” to your computer?
Pictures: They can show us pictures of cute animals, like kittens and puppies.
Games: Computers can play fun games with us. Like the ones where you catch falling stars or pop colorful balloons.
Learning: We can use computers to learn new things, like drawing pictures or counting numbers.
Let’s Practice:
Can you say “Hello” to your computer or a pretend one? Try it!
Today, we have learnt so much about computers, we learned what a computer is, and what it can do for us.
