• It can lead to death
• It can result to ill-health
• Poor school performance
• Mental disorder
• Sickness and disease (lung disease)

• Lack of interest in school assignment.

• Avoiding eating of stale, poorly cooked, dirty, and infested foods.
• Always looking out for the expiry dates on drugs and processed/packaged foods or drinks.
• Avoid taking expired foods, drugs or drinks
