Hello children, welcome back to class
At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to understand natural behaviour of animals.
The behaviour of animals can be described by the things they do naturally. These behaviour form their habits.
The habits include:
- Where they live,
- How they move,
- How they reproduce young ones,
- How they care for young ones and
- The type of sound they make
Where animals live
Domestic animals are kept in special places
Cows, goats, and sheep are kept in a pen Cocks, hens, and chickens are kept in a coop
Fish are kept in an aquarium/pond. Rabbits are kept in a cage/Hutch
Horses are kept in a stable Ants lives inside an Anthill
Young birds live in the nest Bees lives in a hive
How animals move
- March/crawl like an ant. 2. Buzz/fly like a bee.
- Fly like a bird. 4. Crawl like a spider
- Pounce like a cat. 6. Crawl/wiggle like a caterpillar.
- Run like a dog. 8. Jump like a locust.
- Wiggle like a worm.

c) Cockerel – cock-a-doodle-doo d) Cow – moo
e) Cat – meow f) Dog – bark
g) Pig – oink h) Goat – bleat
- Turkey wobbles
Wild Animals
Wild animals are animals that are dangerous. They are not kept in the house.
The picture below show some wild animals

Fox Elephant
Hippopotamus Giraffe
Tiger Chimpanzee
