At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
- Demonstrate the presence of air
- Understand what WIND means
- state the properties of air
- give 3 uses of air
Air is present everywhere around us but we cannot see it. All living things need air to live including plants and animals. We can only feel air when it moves. Moving air is called WIND

PROPERTIES OF AIR
- Air has no odour
- It cannot be seen
- It has weight and occupies space
- Air can move very fast or may move slowly
USES OF AIR
- It cools the body
- It helps in drying
- It supplies energy e.g. wind energy that produces electricity
- It reduces pollution
- It makes plants grow
