In this lesson, we will be talking about respect.

Meaning of Respect

Respect is to admire someone (or a place or thing) because you think they are important and special.

People: Everyone is important, and various people do various things to make the world a better place.

Ways of Showing Respect to People

We should greet those around us.
When greeting older people, we should be calm and polite. The boys could bow and girls could curtsy.
We should help the elderly people by running errands for them.
When elderly people are talking to each other, we should not interrupt them. We should discuss with them if and when they invite us to do so.

Not talking back to an elder despite being offended
