Parents play a role in the personal security of a child by promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.
Personal Security is important because property can be replaced but you are irreplaceable.
The Roles Of Parents On a Child’s Personal Security Consists of:
- They teach Children family values
- They provide their children basic need
- They listen to the complain of their children
- They encourage their children more and criticize them less
- They monitor their children’s change in attitudes.
- They teach their children societal and moral values
In summary, Personal Security involves taking steps to keep yourself safe and protecting yourself from situations that are potentially violent or criminal.
