Welcome to class.
We smell things with our nose. We smell different things. When an object has no smell, we say it is odourless. If something has a smell, we say it has an odour.
We use words like sweet, fruity or pleasant to describe a good smell.
We use words like rotten, foul, stinking, choking or burning to describe a bad smell
We also have different types of sweet smells with different flavours. These are vanilla, strawberry, banana, etc
Pure air is odourlesss, and that is what we need to breathe in pure air, for us to be healthy.
