Welcome to class.
Stamp carving is a traditional printmaking tool and is used to cut images that can be reproduced a number of times. After you have your desired image on your carving block. Carving a stamp becomes nothing more than cutting away parts of the carving medium that is not needed.
STEPS IN STAMP CARVING OF LETTERS
STEP 1: draw your design on the rubber slippers or linoleum in reverse manner.
STEP 2: cut to dimension your rubber slippers and paste on the wooden block with gum or adhesive.
STEP 3: carve out your letters on the rubber block by removing the unwanted area, be sure to cut a distance away from you to avoid accident.
STEP 4: in the carved letters by pressing the stamp pad.
STEP 5: print your letters on a piece of paper.

- Pencil
- Ink
- Palette knife
- Stamp pad
- Wood
- Rubber or linoleum
